Denis Watson Tops Loren Roberts in Pro V1 Playoff

Fairhaven, MA (March 17, 2008) - In just her fourth career start, Sweden’s Louise Friberg relied upon the Titleist Pro V1 golf ball to win her first LPGA Tour title at the MasterCard Classic.  Friberg closed with a final round 7-under 65 for a 6-under 210 total and a one-stroke victory over Taiwan’s Yani Tseng (Pro V1x, 905R driver, 735 irons, Scotty Cameron Newport 2 putter).  Friberg, who started the day 10 strokes behind overnight leader, posted an eagle, six birdies and just one bogey en route to her 65 - the best final round score by three strokes.  Of the nine players who finished among the top eight and ties, six trusted Titleist golf balls for their success.  Titleist was the most played golf ball at the MasterCard Classic with 99 players, more than three times the nearest competitor with 27.
