TITLEIST BRAND AMBASSADOR ANDREW DODT CAPTURES FIRST CAREER EUROPEAN TOUR TITLE

Fairhaven, MA (February 15, 2010) – Titleist Brand Ambassador Andrew Dodt birdied two of the last three holes at the Avantha Masters in Delhi to close with a 4-under 68 and secure a one-shot victory. The 24-year old Australian, who began the day one shot off the pace, won with a 14-under 274 total to claim his maiden European Tour victory. Dodt is The European Tour’s newest Member after taking affiliate membership the previous week and instantly finds himself among the top ten in The Race to Dubai. The event was co-sanctioned with the Asian Tour.

Titleist was the golf ball of choice at the event with 84 players (67%), more than four times the nearest competitor with 18. Titleist was also first in iron sets with 35 players, and sand, lob and approach wedges with 98 in play.

PGA TOUR: J.B. Holmes (Pro V1x, Vokey Design Spin Milled wedges) secured his second straight top-3 finish this year with a T2 at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, one shot behind the winner. Holmes finished at 15-under 271 With his final round 1-under 71, Pro V1x loyalist Steve Marino finished in solo fourth at 13-under 273. Three Pro V1 players tied for fifth place, including Josh Teater (Pro V1x, Vokey Design Spin Milled wedges, Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport putter), J.P. Hayes (Pro V1x, Vokey Design Spin Milledwedges) and Paul Goydos (Pro V1).

Survey Says: According to the Darrell Survey, Titleist was the overwhelming golf ball of choice at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am with 103 players (67%), more than five times the nearest competitor with 19. Titleist was also first in iron sets with 45 players, compared to 30 for the nearest competitor; sand, lob and approach wedges with 129, more than double the nearest competitor with 57; and putters with 63 (40%). Titleist was also second in the driver category with 38 and fairway metals with 30.

CHAMPIONS: Tommy Armour III (Pro V1x, New MB irons, Scotty Cameron putter) finished runner-up at the ACE Group Classic, one shot behind the winner, following a record-tying final round. Armour tied the Champions Tour record for lowest score in relation to par with an 11-under 61. Scott Hoch (Pro V1x, Vokey Design Spin Milled wedges), the 2008 champion, finished solo third at 9-under. Bernhard Langer (Pro V1, Vokey Design Spin Milled wedges) and Mike Goodes (Pro V1x) tied for fourth at 8-under.

SOUTH AFRICA: Titleist Pro V1x golf ball loyalist Darren Fichardt birdied the last hole en route to a final round 68 and a 16-under 273 total to capture the Dimension Data Pro-Am by one shot. Fichardt topped a 1-2-3 finish for Titleist golf ball players, which also included runner-up Louis Oosthuizen (Pro V1x) and rookie Daniel Greene (Pro V1x). Greene closed with a 7-under 65 to finish in solo third position at 13-under 276.

Titleist golf ball loyalists accounted for 111 players in the field of 156 (71%), more than all other golf balls combined. In fact, 10 of the 12 players who finished among the top 10 and ties relied upon Titleist for their success. Titleist was also top choice of the field in hybrids, irons sets and wedges.

AUSTRALASIAN: Alistair Presnell (Pro V1x, 909D3 driver, 909F2 3-wood, 909H hybrid, New MB irons, Vokey Design pitching and sand wedges, Spin Milled lob wedge) shot a course record and equaled the record for the lowest ever round in an Australasian Tour event on his way to claiming the Cellarbrations Victorian PGA Championship. Presnell fired a final round 12-under par 60, smashing the previous course record by three shots and taking his four-day total to 22-under par 266, one-shot clear of his nearest competitors. Presnell posted 12 birdies en route to his second PGA Tour of Australasia title.

WORLDWIDE WINS: With three more golf ball wins this week, Titleist players have accumulated 15 victories across the 2010 worldwide professional tours, five times the nearest competitor with 3.
