TITLEIST IS THE OVERWHELMING BALL OF CHOICE AT THE 2004 PGA CHAMPIONSHIP.

Tops Golf Ball Count with 104 Players at Year’s Final Major. Leading Choice Across Iron, Wedge and Putter Categories.

As the PGA Championship, the year’s final major, commenced this week at the challenging Straits Course at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin, participants in what is considered to be golf’s strongest field relied upon Titleist equipment more than any other.

In the golf ball category, 104 players, or more than 66 percent of the field, are relying upon the Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x models, over five times the nearest competitor with 19. The PGA Championship ball count underscores the players' overwhelming trust in the superior performance and consistency of Titleist. Year-to-date, that trust has been rewarded with 25 victories on the PGA TOUR which is more than all other golf balls combined and 22 more victories than the nearest competitor with 3.
