Scott Birk Named 2004 Titleist Sales Representative of the Year.

Fairhaven, MA (January 27, 2005) - Titleist, Golf’s Symbol of Excellence, proudly announces the selection of Scott Birk as 2004 Sales Representative of the Year. The official presentation to recognize Birk for this distinguished honor took place during the opening session of the Titleist National Sales Meeting in Orlando, Fla.

Birk, who has been the Titleist golf ball representative in San Diego since 2002, has combined sales excellence with strong customer relationships to earn this highest honor in the Titleist sales organization for the second time in his career. A master of relationship building, Scott’s commitment to service and sales professionalism also earned him his sixth Titleist Gold Circle Award, representative of excellence in annual sales performance.

Birk, the son of PGA Golf Professional Jim Birk from Indiana, began his Acushnet career in 1992 as a Titleist Customer Service Representative in Massachusetts. He then moved west to work in Titleist Golf Club operations in Escondido, Calif. assisting with the development of Titleist’s Custom Fitting program. In 1996, Birk began his field sales career as the Titleist Representative in central California. He moved to Louisville in 1998 where he was selected the Kentucky PGA Section Representative of the Year in each of the three years he was in the territory and earned his first Titleist Sales Representative of the Year honor in 2000.

Scott and his wife Danielle, have three children, Hunter, McKenzie and Grady. They reside in San Marcos.
