This past week and leading into the weekend, the action at the Solheim Cup had the hallmarks of a New Years Eve celebration - a global audience anxiously awaiting for the ball to drop (albeit a golf ball), some spectacular fireworks in the form of clutch putts and unbelievable shots, and a few bottles of celebratory champagne for Team Europe. In their quest to retain the Solheim Cup, Team Europe made event history by capturing their first victory on American soil and Titleist golf ball loyalist Caroline Hedwall (Pro V1) achieved another Solheim first by compiling a 5-0-0 record in competition.Among the 24 players in competition, 16 relied on a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball for their success, more than five times the nearest competitor with three and more than all other competitors combined. And of the 12 victorious players in blue and gold, 9 relied on a Titleist golf ball.Rounding out the action from this past weekend on the worldwide professional tours, Titleist Brand Ambassador Peter Malnati (Web.com Tour) along with Pro V1x loyalist Bart Bryant (Champions Tour) and Pro V1x loyalist HyungTae Kim (Korean PGA Tour) found the winners circle.Titleist golf ball players have now won 93 time on the worldwide professional tours in 2013.Check out the Team Titleist recap below for some quick highlights from this past weekend’s wins.

Sure, this week’s Wyndham Championship isn’t a major, but there is certainly a lot on the line for the 156 players in the field.
The Wyndham Championship represents the final regular season event of the 2013 PGA Tour season and the final chance for players to qualify for the FedExCup Playoffs, which kick off next week. Players will also be vying to move up the rankings to lock in a 2014 Tour Card and hopefully put an exclamation point on their 2013 campaigns.
So, among the field of 156 players at Sedgefield Country Club this week, 100 will put their trust in a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball. That’s more than 4 times the nearest competitor with 23 and more than all other competitors combined.
Titleist was also the top choice of players in the sand, lob and approach wedge (156) and putter (61) category.
Be sure to check out the photo gallery above to see what Titleist Brand Ambassadors Morgan Hoffmann, Matt Jones, Jason Bohn, Will Claxton, Brad Fritsch, Ben Kohles and more were up to earlier in the week.

Already a landmark annual event for the best amateurs from around the world, the playing of the 2013 U.S. Amateur Championship has a bit more historical context for the competitors this year at The Country Club at Brookline. You see, it is the same course where a 20-year old named Francis Ouimet, one of the game's most legendary amateurs, made his epic charge to a U.S. Open championship exactly 100 years ago this September. In the field of 312 golfers looking to take top amateur honors this year, 246 players are trusting Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls for their success, more than six times the nearest competitor with 38 and more than three times all competitors combined.Titleist also leads the field across all major club categories including drivers (113), fairway metals and hybrids (195), iron sets (123), approach, sand and lob wedges (410) and putters (114).As the week unfolds and the competition moves from medal play to match play, one amateur will stand atop the field on Sunday and add his name to the record books at the historic Country Club.• • •The U.S. Amateur Championship is just one of several marquee national amateur events where the top competitive amateur players in the world put their trust in Titleist. Throughout the year, Titleist has proven to be the golf ball of choice at these prestigious events:

Some days on the greens you have the line, but you don't have the speed. Half the equation won't cut it on the PGA Tour and it certainly won't help you beat your buddies.
So, Titleist Brand Ambassador Matteo Manassero is here to help you with your pace on the greens in this week's Tip From the Tour.
In the video, Manny plays a game of "5" to isolate speed on the greens. Try this game in your next practice session, and get your speed under control for the next time you hit the course.
