The #1 Ball in Golf On the Range at the 2013 OHL Classic at Mayakoba
Posted: November 15, 2013
Team Titleist is south of the border with the PGA Tour, where 132 players will tee it up at El Camaleon Golf Club in Play del Carmen, Mexico for this week's OHL Classic at Mayakoba.
While we are just a few weeks into the new 2013-2014 PGA Tour season, the Titleist Tour Staff is in full swing helping players like Brand Ambassador Erik Compton (pictured above) dial in their equipment as they get ready to face the 7,039-yard par 71 layout this week.
And as the field looks to catch FedExCup points leader and Titleist Brand Ambassador Jimmy Walker before the holidays, 80 players will put their trust in a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x, more than four times the nearest competitor with 17, and more than all other competitors combined.
Enjoy your weekend on the golf course, share your #MyTitleist photos here and stay tuned for the Team Titleist Monday Recap.
In the meantime, here are some fast facts on the OHL Classic at Mayakoba:
- Pro V1 loyalist John Huh captured his first career PGA Tour victory here in 2012.
- The tournament record for low aggregate score (264) is held by Pro V1x loyalist Brian Gay (2008), and low score to par (-17) is held by Pro V1x loyalist Johnson Wagner (2011).
- The OHL Classic began play in 2007, and presents the winner a large sand sculpture of a chameleon.
