Hole-in-one stories

Cameron Mitchell

I have been playing golf since I was four, taught by my Dad. Recently we rejoined a local golf community after taking a break for a few years to concentrate on my studies and other sports. My Grandma is the only other family member of the Mitchells to score an ace. I am now a member of that somewhat exclusive fraternity!! I really love the game and have seen steady improvement over the past several months, but never dreamed I could knock my special Titleist ProV1 #3 into the hole on number #14(especially since I'm 14 too)!! All I could do was enjoy the moment with my favorite partner, Dad, and my Pastor!! Titleist forever!

Bucket List

On our annual trip to Tunica, Mississippi golf trip the Tunica Posse hit the night life hard on Sunday arriving at the casino. Monday morning started out with a 3 mile run to clear my head. I started with a par on one and 2 and 3 got ugly.
Hole 4 posed a challenge with a stiff crosswind. I hit the ball and knew it was good but not that good. Upon watching it hit the green and track into the hole I fell to my knees like being hit in the back of the legs with a night stick. Our entire group of 9 was there as the fivesome on the next tee box was with our group. After kissing the ground and being able walk again, we proceeded to the green and I took a picture of the ball in the cup. Due to the other group witnessing, I was receiving congratulations texts from back home before I even got to the green.
A moment that equalled my skydiving experiences!!

Hole in one

2nd hole at Crosswinds it was late November and the weather was clear and very sunny at 10:00 AM of course. 1st player hit and it was awful close of going in , the thing is we couldn't see the hole. Front half of the green we could see and the back half was in the shade. 204 yards a little down hill hit a nice 4 iron , landed in the middle of the green and rolled in . Couldn't see it roll in of course / but thte same outcome. Been playing golf for 30 years and this was my 1st one.

My First Hole In One

At New Port Dunes on #11 the wind was blowing into & left to right 15-20 mph. The pin was front right about 138 yards. My partner was right of the green. I teed it up on the right side of the box. Choked up on a six iron and lined up about five yards left of pin. Hit a cut higher than intended and the wind brought it back to the hole. Couldn't see the bottom of the pin because of mound blocking front right of green. The ball hit leaving a ball mark on the lip of the cup. Continued round and birdied two more par threes on back side to be four under on par threes for the side. Continued tournament the next day and birdied par three #2. Won the tournament with eagle on #18. What a great weekend.
