My name is Sean Cleary and I moved here from Ireland in August 2011 to play college golf for the 6th ranked junior college in the nation Kirkwood CC in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I play at my fellow team mates home course in a small town Belle Plaine Iowa. On this day at the 9 hole course we first played 9 just to warm up a little and i shot even par. After a quick break we went back out for more. I started on fire with birdies at holes 1,3,5,6 before coming to the driveable par 4 hole 7. I had birdied this hole regularly before but today was to be different.I hit it perfect with a high draw the ball pitched right online for the pin bounced straight and rolled in!! I could not believe it! Me and my playing partners Mitch, Logan and Tyler went crazy! I was the first ever person to have a hole in one on this hole. The course was also very busy at the time so loads of other people were there to join in the craziness. Not only was it my first hole in one but it put me 7 under after 7 with a short par 4 to come. I par'd the last two holes to shoot my first ever 29 for 9 holes. An incredible day :)
