I was playing in the Club Championship and had the wind slightly at my back, pin was in the middle of the green but at the back of the green. I normally hit an eight iron about 120/125 but I did not want to go over the green so I elected to hit a hard 8 iron and simply hit a shot that never left the pin, it hit twice and rolled in. I ended up shooting 75 for the day and am leading the Super Senior division at our club. I was using a Titleist Prov1x, my favorite ball. The distance to the pin was 130 yards. I was a happy 70 year old golfer.
