YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING

I have been playing for over twenty years and had quietly resigned myself that I may never score a Hole-In-One. I had six hole out from the fairway for Eagles but never "The One".
On the day my miracle happened I was having golfitis but this was worse. Due to back issues I had not played for five years. I just couldn't stand it a moment longer, picked up my bag and headed out. The round was progressing as you might expect after such a long layoff and as I approached the tenth tee I had no idea what to pull. The tenth at Wedgwood G.C. is a downhill par 3 and guarded by a hazard forcing carry.
When the ball left I was sure it was in the hazard but it barely carried and rolled out into the cup. My paying partner yelled and I just smiled. Thanks Golf Gods!!!!
