I've had the pleasure of playing this game since March of 2005. At the age of 45 now I had gotten close to a hole-in-one before, and had even seen one of my friends get one, but never had one myself. On Friday morning I asked my friend if there was an opening in his foursome the next morning. I was able to join them, and we teed off around 9am. I was 1-over when I got to the tee box on #8 and lasered it at 149 yards. I pulled my Titleist AP2 9-iron, and teed up my Titleist Pro V1x (all my clubs are Titleist), and took a smooth swing. The ball went out straight and true and landed about 5 yards short and a bit left of the pin. It rolled out and turned a bit right and I saw it hit the cup and disappear. It was a wonderful feeling and I hope to have this experience again some day. Thanks to Titleist for such great products.
