Rainy Day Surprise

It threatened rain all day. We had a few sprinkles but nothing major. No. 15 is a par 5. The sprinkles got a little harder. We played the short par 4 16th with a light rain falling. On No. 17, par 3, 145 yards the rain was now falling with a breeze in our face. Glenn and Larry hit. I walked to the tee as my brother Terry is hitting. I asked the yardage agin. 145. I had chosen an 8 iron as the wind picked up. A nice clean strike. Two hops, roll and the ball disappeared. My brother shouts " it went in"! I was skeptical as the rain was coming down. Sure enough. Ace!!! Ironically, my brother was with me a few years ago when I made a double eagle.
