got my first hole in one in my club championship!

im 51 and it seemed like i would never get one.

i witnessed quite a few, my brothers first some years ago my playing partners...

this year my league partner a beast of a hitter got his first on a 195 yrd par 3 using a 7 iron.

some weeks prior to me getting mine a 14yr old kid gets 2 hole in ones in one round?
i asked the kid what that felt like, what was going on in your head?
he looked at me like nothing big or rare even happened...

back to my hole in one: a short par three, im down 3 in match play to my old playing partner, the old club pro and several people i knew were watching, one hop and it hit the stick right in. I saw it go in which made it special.

went on to tie the match in 9 holes but lost in an extra hole playoff, i did go on to win consolation at least.

because it was my first, i bought the club house bar a round: $950

then took out everyone i could grab for dinner $750...

great time had by all.

next time it wont be so extravagant, but how often do you get your first.
