I have Played over 30 years and have gotten close quite a few times...this is an amazing story because I have had 2 HIOs in 6 weeks at 2 different courses with plenty of witnesses. What a Thrill !
Was asked to play a tournament with some friends. I was suffering from Golfers Elbow, so not a good day at all. After shanking and duffing my way through most of the day, I got to the Par 3 11th hole. It is a very short hole, 70 Yards on that day, and over water. It was a sucker pin for sure. It was only a few paces on the front of the green. To get it close, I would have to just land the front edge of the green and hope for a lot of spin. I chose a lob wedge , and pulled out a new Pro V1. The one guy with me said " Your gonna hit a brand new Pro V? " I replied " If I want it to stop, I will have to". Of course, they got a laugh out of that. I took aim , and picked a spot to land it. I knew it was going to be close while the ball was in the air. It landed right where I was looking with a high bounce being struck with a Lob Wedge. It went a few feet past the pin, and then spun back into the hole. I had one good hole in me that day to say the least. That was my 2nd of three hole in ones on the year. Thanks again Titleist for making it a memorable day once again. All The Best, C. Martin

Wanted to hit a couple balls, so went down the street to the local Muni. course. It just started snowing , so I went over to the Par 3 #7. Hit my ball in the hole despite the 20-25mph winds and snow starting to stick. It was very cool to see where the ball had tracked to the hole on the lightly covered in snow green. This was my 3rd Hole in One this year....Thanks for another great hole Titleist.... All The Best, C. Martin
Sunday Feb. 10 I took a chipping clinic at Grayhawk and the Pro asked everyone to comment about their short game. I said I just pray to get the ball near the hole in flight because my chipping and putting are so unreliable. Tuesday, Feb. 12 I took a clinic on short irons at Troon North with Ryan Mahoney and he adjusted my grip a bit and talked about SQUARING the CLUB FACE!!! Wednesday Feb. 13 at the Phoenician golf I squarely hit a beautiful shot over the water and straight at the pin in flight with one small hop into the hole. Sooo exciting, and of course unfocused for the next hole...put 2 in the water and scored 8. Love the golf Gods!!
On 02/19/2013 I was playing with a local group of guys called the Players Group. That day it consisted of approxiamelty 40 players. I was pair with Bob Oxley, Tony Mordenga, and Chuck Sayre. My daughter Ann had just called me to wish me a Happy Birthday. When we got to the 16th hole a par 3 Mr Oxley hit first a came up a little short. I then hit a 7 iron using my new 2013 Pro V1x golf ball, watched it fly straight toward the pin, hit about five feet short and then disappear into the hole. I have had holes in ones before, but not for at least 20 years so yes I was in shock, but my parnters for that day were very excited.
