I played a morning tournment an hour away from my home course. As soon as the tournment came to an end I rushed back to Lake St. Catherine Country Club to play Thursday night ladies league. It was my 2oth hole of the day on a very warm July evening. It was windy and I was tired so I chose my 8 iron for the 125yd over the river par 3. I struck the ball well, it bounced infront of the hole. I thought it landed behind the home but my partner was going nuts yelling it went in it went in. Sure enough when we got to the green three balls were on the green and mine was in the hole.. I was happy because I just won closest to the pin 0.0 inches! cash to pay for drinks. My first hole in one!
