I had the good fortune of playing with my two sons and a good friend on the Saturday of Easter Weekend. My oldest son drove 11 hours to be with us. I have played over 50 years without making a hole in one. The shot was visible and slow rolled off a slope into the hole adding anticipation and drama. My sons and friend were so happy, probably more excited than me. My friend has one hole in one and we were playing together as a twosome on that day. He used a number 7 Titleist PRO V1 and I used a number seven PRO V1 also. The totally weird thing was my son looked at his phone on the drive home and his girlfriend had sent a text saying her Dad had his first hole in one that day. She could not believe it when he called her to report mine. Tomorrow we drive to my daughter's church to see her four boys Baptized on Easter Sunday and share a nice meal in celebration.

My wife's return text to my son following notification of the hole in one, "glory be, he will do anything to avoid putting."

I have played Titleist balls all my life and I'm so happy the shot was with a PRO V1. It is dated and saved.
