My First Hole In One

Amazing! After 47 years of playing golf and I estimate over 20,000+ attempts at the elusive hole-in one. I made it! It was Saturday morning at Woodbrige Golf & CC, we had a 10:52 tee time. I was playing with Steve Wolf and Cecil Dillon, our 4th was at a soccer game in Chico. Steve, Cecil and I all graduated together from Lodi High School in 1967. We have become Great Friends and enjoy our golf together.
On the 8th hole Middle, it's a short Par 3, Steve says," I feel like someone is going to get a hole in one today, well we all hit the green, but no hole in one. Three holes later, # 2 on the River 172 yd's. I was the last to hit 5 iron, the ball hit on the green, left of the pin, curled around to the right, I stood there watching, it seemed like slow motion, then it disappeared into the hole. It was truly a Great Day, they've each had a hole in one, Steve has had several. I joined the Hole-in-one club. Sorry no Pics we were to excited I guess!
