Club Announcements Patrick Martone Makes a Hole-in-One! Mr. Martone made a hole-in-one on Monday, February 11, 2013 on hole #11 of the Club Course. What a shot he made using his 9-Iron from 146 yards. James Nicholas and Don Muzzi watched as Mr. Martone made the hole-in-one. Great Shot Mr. Martone! Congratulations Well this was the announcement in my clubs weekly newsletter and i have to say it made my day...I had a horrific front that day and I wasn't looking forward to playing the back which is much more difficult but i had a par on the par 5 tenth hole and the wind was howling and the 11th was much more difficult and then the rest is history it the front of the cup and the stick and in with a pop....
I've been playing for about 10 years now. HCP is currently 12. About 2 weeks ago I aced a 170 yrd par 3 with a Pro V1 & DCI 981 7 iron. Your products are working wonders on the course.
I began the day with a bogey on one. So right away you think what kind day is it going to be. Hole # 2 is a par 3 all uphill, so you cannot see the hole , but the flag is in view. I have been a member of this club for several years , and have come very close at times. I hit, and it was a good looking shot, one of my partners said "that's in the hole", like yea right. As we got to the green there was ball about 4 feet from the cup. As we got closer you could see a ball just peaking out of cup. Larry thought it might be his, I said we'll see. Sure enough it was my Titleist 2. Very exciting day, and I hope to do it again. Sonny

The first of the year Puetz in Seattle has a Titleist ball special, so I bought 10 dz. Pro V1x balls.I was playing Highlander in East Wenatchee and hole 12 had a 15mph west to east wind. The other 3 golfers hit left to ride the wind and came up shorton the 152 yd. hole. I elected an easy 7 iron and drew it in from about 7yds. It went 3ft past the hole and spun back in the hole. I wasn't convinced it was in the hole until I pulled it out. I have 9dz. left, thanks Gary G. S.
Beautiful morning at Great Bear. Joined up with Florence & the Logan's who Play regularly at 8am. I had my first eagle with them! Easy swing with 5 wood and it just rolled in. It was 156 yards. White flag, Middle of green. Hole usually plays a bit longer. We all heard the "tink" sound of the ball hit the flag stick. Awesome moment. Never thought I'd ever have a hole in one- bit I Guess threats whet everyone thinks! Big smile. Thank you, for the golf tag :)
