The 4th to remember

While playing in the Quidnessett CC annual 4th of July family scramble, we approached the daunting Quidnessett signature hole. 168 yards, totaly over water, with a prevailing wind in you face. The pin was up, I took out my 7 iron, hit it pure, and hit a slight draw towards the pin. The natural vegitation surrounding the water's edge obstructed our view of the actual landing of the ball. Upon approaching the green, the ball was nowhere to be seen. What insued was the foursome holding its collective breath and the walk toward the cup. The rest is history. What a wonderful way to celebrate our Nation's birthday.
