I think it went in

Walking up to the par 3, 144 yard 13th at Indian Springs in Marlton, NJ on July 28, 2013 I had no idea what fate awaited on the tee box. Looking in my bag and realizing my PW and 9 iron were missing didn't make things any easier as I drew my 8 iron trying to talk myself into a half swing so I didn't fly the green a hole in one was the furthest thing from my mind. As I hit the ball I heard "That could be nice if it is long enough..." As my eyes caught the ball in it's flight I couldn't help but think how nice it was to not swing so hard and actually have the ball do what I wanted it to do.

The ball hit the green and I said, "Man, that was perfect", next thing I knew, the ball disappeared, everyone on the surrounding greens began to cheer and shout, the guys behind me were smacking five and hugging me. I threw my 8 iron into the air, put my hands on my head and said, "I think it went in!!!!"

$113 dollars in the bar later I felt like a celebrity for a day. It is something I will never forget, and the Titleist I pulled out of my bag certainly helped my case.
