Since my oldest son moved to Connecticut, we had not had chance to play much golf together. However, on Sunday 8/25/13 we were able to slip out to play 9 holes at Rockledge C.C. in W. Hartford. You could not have asked for a better day to play. My magic moment happened on the 176 yard par 3 8th hole with a tee shot that had eyes for the green. The ball took one bounce in the cut in the front of the green and rolled right for the hole. It sort of ran out of gas and fell into the cup. Before this nothing had ever been close and I had not ever had an Eagle. Two weeks to the day, no not another one, I did have my 1st Eagle on a short par 5 at Swansea C.C. in Swansea MA, on in two and made the putt. Both of these since my son gave me a sleeve of NXT Tour balls. All in all a great couple of weeks of golf.
