My name is Blake Lewis from Pearl Mississippi. I've played off and on for twenty years, age 16 to 36, 1993 - present. In the first 18 years, I didn't make an ace. I've made 3 in the last 2 years, 2 in the last 9 days! Unbelievable!
This was my 9th Hole-In-One over a 52 year span. Everyone was made with a Titleist ball. My first one was when I was 17, with my father who would be 112 today. This one was made with Fred Bruno who was my teacher for over 30 years. Both people played a big part of me playing golf. One started me playing and the other made me into the golfer I became. It was very exciting to have Fred playing with me today.

My name is Anthony Barbo, and I am currently a senior at The Ohio State University. I have been an active member in the Professional Golf Management program at OSU for the past four years now. On July 26th, 2013 I was scheduled to play in the Professional Golfers' Association Playing Ability Test to reach a certification on my way to become a member in the PGA. On my second round I was standing on the 17th hole par 3, 180 yards two shots off the passing score of a 154 combined 36 hole score. I grabbed my seven iron from my bag and hit a slight fade into the green. The ball hit and rolled 5 feet into the flagstick for a hole-in-one! I managed to par the last hole and passed the PGA Playing ability test with no strokes to spare. I ended up hitting the best shot of my life in the most important round of golf I have ever played, something I will never forget.
Course - Saticoy CC in Somis CA Hole - #13 Distance - 168 yds. Club - 7i Today I played in one of my Club's Stag Day Tournaments. Typically they consist of four man teams in a shotgun style format. Today we started on hole #13. I hit a 7i to about 6 feet above the hole, the ball took a line directly at the hole and about 6-7 seconds later we got to watch it disappear. This was my first ever hole in one, and having played golf at all different levels for over 20 years, I can honestly say this was the best feeling I can remember having in recent memory. First shot of the day, on our first hole, for my first ever hole in one.

After 3.5 hours of sleep the night before, my expectations were low. Perhaps that is what led to this incredible round. First, I'm a 13.3 handicap. But on this day, I was +20 over my quota. The round included three birdies and an ace for a round of 74. It was the first time I've broken 80 and my third ace. As soon as I hit it, my partner said I said, "oh wow". Indeed.
