In July of 2013, I purchased a new set of irons. For some unknown reason, you could not buy the attack wedge or L wedge as part of the set. The set I purchased, I special ordered with 115g shafts in them and I ordered separately the attack and L-wedge which came with 85g shafts.

By late Novemeber of 2013, I decided I needed to get the same shafts in the attack wedge and the L-wedge because I simply could not hit those 2 clubs and stopped using them. I bought the shafts online and my local pro put them in for me. On hole number 3 at my club, I used the attack wedge with the new shaft in it for the very first time on a Par 3 at 114 yards, a perfect distance for the attack wedge. The club felt heavier in my hand but also comfortable since that is the shaft weight of all my other clubs.

Hit a nice towering shot and said to myself that looks good but it might be long. Landed and boom jumped right into the cup for my first Ace. Sure glad I changed the shaft in that Attack wedge.
