It was a very windy day with the wind right in our faces. I went up two clubs from my normal club selection. I hit a three hybrid. The ball landed approximately eighteen inches in front of the hole. We knew it was close to going in but we couldn't see it until we drove to the green. I am sixty six years young and have been playing golf for seven years. This was my first hole in one so I was very excited. There were three gentlemen with me. Ken Friesz
After lipping out and hitting sticks for the past 3 decades, it finally happened. The ball leaned against the pin for at least 30 seconds, thus confirming another close call for me, until a member of my group noticed the ball wasn't there anymore.
OUR CLUB HAD A 4 MAN SCRAMBLE WITH 12 TEAMS, WITH THE TEE GROUND IDENTIFIED BY THE PLAYER'S HANDICAP. THE TEAMS WERE SELECTED BY A COMPUTER PROGRAM IN THE PRO SHOP WHICH SPREAD OUT THE PLAYERS BY HANDICAP. OUR NET BEST BALL 58 WAS ENOUGH TO WIN THE TOURNAMENT OVER TWO NET 59'S, AND THE REMAINDER OF THE TEAMS IN THE LOW 60'S. MY ACE ON 17 PUT US ONE STROKE AHEAD. OF COURSE THE ACE REQUIRED DRINKS ALL AROUND, AND THE CLOSEST TO THE HOLE PRIZE WAS $25. MY COMPLIMENTS.

On 3/10/14 playing hole number 10 at Coral Canyon in St. George Utah, a 376 yard par four, I hit driver with a tailing wind and hit a hole in one. Fourth hole in one in 20 years of golfing. I love the Titleist ball.
It took me 40 years to make a hole in 1 and my son did it in 3 1/2 years
