After a long 48 year wait I finally got my first hole in one. 7th hole at Redrock Country Club in Las Vegas, Nevada. 171 yards from an elevated tee box to an elevated green. I was always worried that when i finally did get one the shot might be less that well hit. This one was right in the center of the club. The type of strike that you don't really feel in your hands. I thought it was close but no one saw it go in. I walked up to the green and as I got closer to the hole I got a funny feeling in my stomach. Could this really by the time? There was my Titleist Pro V1 in the bottom of the hole. That's the good news....the bad news? I was in a club tournament with 80 golfers....$600 bar tab. Well worth it! The moral of the story? Never quit trying even if it takes you 48 years.
