Our league almost got rained out. Had 15 minutes till they sent us home. Then the weather cleared. We did a shotgun start to save time. We started on 1 with light rain. By hole 3 it had cleared up. I haven't been hitting my 4 wood very well, but this is a long par 3 and I have come up short each week. So I peg a 4 wood. It bounces short of the green, bounces a few times more, then hits the stick about 6 inches high. Then my ball vanished. It was the best ever. 16 handicap for 9 holes. It can happen to anyone!
