I was golfing at Prestwick CC in Mrytle Beach on July 4 and was struggling to make pars throughout the day. I was playing with a good friend and he hit a shot about 12 feet from the hole on the 135 yard par 3 over water. When I first hit the ball I felt I may have hit it to far and asked for it to get down. It landed about 3 feet in front of the hole and rolled right in the hole. We made so much noise a worker came to check on us and realized I had just made a hole in one with my Pro V1. I was using my new AP1 irons and this was my first hole in one after 36 years of golfing.
