I was on the tee at the 11th hole at Serrano Country Club on Monday, one of the most prestigious private courses in Northern California. This is then annual Empire Ranch Men's Golf Club (I am the president) Major Away Tournament. We had 117 players in the tournament. The club has over 600 members.
I measured the hole at 181 yards but it plays down hill so I played it at 165 yards, which is my 22 degree hybrid.
I hit a soft draw to the back left pin and it hit about 2 feet in front of the p[in and kind of spun right into the hole.
This was my first hole in one..I am a 15 handicap player and I am 69 years old.
