It was 65 degrees on a beautiful Southern afternoon. I came to the tee on a 103 yard par three. Somewhat in between clubs so I choked down a PW and made a nice fluid swing. The ball came down about 2' past the pin and I saw it spin back and disappear into the cup. I am not an excitable guy but this first ace after so many close calls brought a fist pump. The wait was worth it.
