My 1st hole in one!! Sunday, March 19th, 2017 at St. Andrews Golf & Country Club in West Chicago, IL. Hole #7, par 3, 148 yards using a Titleist Pro-V1 and png G30 6 iron. My husband, Ryan, and I were playing the Leprechaun Scramble, a two-person scramble with our new friends, Heather & Matt. The gals teed off while the guys were lighting cigars, not paying attention to our shots, of course. :) After we hit, my husband commented that someone had a nice shot as Heather’s ball was on the green, just right of the pin. He asked me, “Where did you go?” My reply, “I’m not sure, but it might be in the hole!” I had a feeling it was good. It was tracking towards the pin… it was either in the hole or rolled off the back of the green. We all hurried up to the green and sure enough it was in the hole!! Such a great day! Such a fun time on the course, even before the hole in one. So much more fun after the hole in one! And, to top it off, my husband and I won the tournament! Needless to say, Heather & Matt are our new favorite playing partners!!
