Watch this!

It was late afternoon and a couple of Work buddies and I decided to take a short day at work and went to golf at Old Works golf course in Anaconda, Montana. I’m a scratch golfer and my co-workers like to play on the occasion. So I bring up the idea of golfing from the tips and they did not mind. If anyone knows Old Works, the tips make the course a whole hell of a lot longer play to finish any hole. We are going at an average pace of them loosing balls and taking mulligans whenever they feel like it and we arrive at hole #7, 225 yard, par3 from the tips. We hit and then there is a 2 some behind us so we decide to let them pass. They pull up next to us and they are playing from the copper teas, which are two in front of the tips, and they ask what they should use here because they have never played here before. I get up and say,” Ehh your about 190 to the pin so probably a 9 iron.” The guy looks at me and says,” bulls**t you wouldn’t use a 9 iron.” And I was like whatever. So both of them hit and then the guy turns and looks at me and says,” your turn buddy.” So I get another ball and my 9 iron and place it on the ground. Before I hit I look up at him and say,” watch this!” I strike the ball perfectly and it lands on the green and rolls towards the pin. It was that perfect light coming from the sun where you couldn’t really see where the ball was, but it went straight towards the pin or in the bunker behind it. So after I hit he says,” ok maybe you can” then I say,” hey buddy when you get down there wanna check to see if my ball is in the hole?” Oh whatever you say as he laughs at my comment. All of us drive down and they get out. He starts to walk towards the hole and when he gets there he looks down and say,” you’ve gotta be f***ing kidding me as he reaches down and pulls my ball out of the hole. I had five witnesses when I called my own hole in one.
