I hit a punched 9-iron on a 100 yard hole because it was into a breeze. The ball hit about 10 to 12 feet above the hole on slowly rolled down the green into the hole (greens were running 13 on the stimp meter). Today's ace was my second in a little over a month (Hole #8 on Nov. 1st) and my third on the 17th hole, previously Nov. 2012 and Feb 2013. I started playing golf at 15 years old in 1957. I had my first ace in 2003 (just 46 years!!). My aces total is now 6.
