My husband Ed, daughter Carly, her boyfriend Matt and myself were playing in a couples twilight so we could meet people. I was not playing well at all and was trying to figure out why. My daughter said, "just get up and hit the ball Mom"! So with that in mind, I grabbed my 9 iron for a 125 yard uphill shot and just hit the ball. My husband said he saw it bounce once and go in, but of course...I didn't believe him! We got to the green and Matt ran to the hole and pulled the ball out!! I was in such shock...I screamed!! After talking to the rest of the guy's we decided we would play because it wasn't raining. I was playing ok, when we arrived at #7, a 143 yard par 3 playing up hill and dead into the wind. I had the honors and hit a nice shot drawing over the bunker right on line, I was hoping I had enough club to catch the green.
