Titleist ambassador Adam Scott follow up a third round 7-under 65 with a final round 6-under 66 to finish at 17-under 271, capturing the Shell Houston Open by three strokes. Adam is using the new Pro V1 golf ball and new 907D2 driver (specs below). He first put the 907D2 in his bag at the WGC-Accenture Match Play and it took just three PGA Tour starts to win with it. At the Shell Houston Open, Adam's driving distance averaged 306.5 yards ranking him 4th in the field for the week. He also hit 79.2% of greens in regulation including 89% GIR in the final round. Check out this article from The Tour Van for more on Adam and the new Titleist 907 drivers.
Some of you might have read in the Tour Blog about some of the adjustments that the Titleist Tour Van guys implemented for Adam less than two weeks ago including tweaks to his fairway loft, a new 585.H hybrid and a new Vokey wedge. Below is a complete listing of the equipment that Adam actually had in his bag for his 12th career win as a professional.
