What's In Adam's Bag?

Scott

Titleist ambassador Adam Scott follow up a third round 7-under 65 with a final round 6-under 66 to finish at 17-under 271, capturing the Shell Houston Open by three strokes. Adam is using the new Pro V1 golf ball and new 907D2 driver (specs below). He first put the 907D2 in his bag at the WGC-Accenture Match Play and it took just three PGA Tour starts to win with it. At the Shell Houston Open, Adam's driving distance averaged 306.5 yards ranking him 4th in the field for the week. He also hit 79.2% of greens in regulation including 89% GIR in the final round. Check out this article from The Tour Van for more on Adam and the new Titleist 907 drivers.

Some of you might have read in the Tour Blog about some of the adjustments that the Titleist Tour Van guys implemented for Adam less than two weeks ago including tweaks to his fairway loft, a new 585.H hybrid and a new Vokey wedge. Adam has put a prototype AP2 2-iron in play on occasion this year. We decided not to manufacture this club on a wide scale for distribution through golf shops, so it will not be possible for you to order one.

Did Adam play an AP2 2-iron for awhile and is it possible to order one from Titleist?

What are the lengths of Adam's 48-55-60 degree wedges?

  4. Robert Sellman

What are the lengths of Adam's driver, fairway, hybrid....and length and lie of his wedges?

  5. Robert Sellman

Adam employs the following tip lengths in his driver and fairways:
• Driver: no tip
• 15° fairway: 1/2" tip
• 18° fairway: 1 1/2" tip

How does Adam tip his driver, fairway, and hybrid shafts?

When is the new hat that Adam is wearing coming out to the public?

Adam's 2-iron was actually a 690.CH prototype. The PT 585.H that he now uses offers superior playability and control with a preferred trajectory. Adam often wears non-white hats (see below), and typically wears FootJoy Classics.

Adam used to play a 695CB 2-iron, now he plays a PT 585.H. Why? Is there a reason why Adam always wears white caps? Also, and although it's not about Titleist clubs, what type of FootJoy shoes does Adam wear?
