Inside the Titleist Tour Van

Posted: May 15, 2007

Last week from THE PLAYERS, we showed you some of the custom putter covers and grips available in the Titleist Tour Van, as well as the new Tour Van that made its debut in Korea. We thought you might be interested in a closer look at some of the other features of the Van that services the PGA Tour. Hope you enjoy...be sure to let us know if you have any questions! -- Steve Mata

This comment has nothing to do with this post, but I hope you can answer my question. I am looking at getting the 735.CM irons. I really like them, but they have been out on the market for almost 2 years. Any chance of seeing some new 735-type irons out in the near future? Do you typically come out with new sets every couple years? Thanks.

OK. I want a Tour Van, where can I get one?

Nation

Wow, that's impressive!

Titleist does not adhere to any strict timelines for releasing new equipment. We develop many prototype products for performance-validation testing on Tour, and only release equipment once it has been "Tour approved".

Ours is made by Featherlite Inc.

How often do you get a new Tour Van? Do the graphics change as new equipment comes out?

Nation

Loft and lie adjustments on drivers, fairways, and utilities are not available on consumer orders. Please check the individual product pages on Titleist.com for other custom capabilities.

Can a consumer request that their driver, fairway, or utility be bent open when placing an order for Titleist clubs? Do golf shops have access to your custom bending jigs to help deal with their Titleist consumer requests?

We try to keep the graphics on the Van up-to-date with current inline product, but it's difficult to make any changes once the Tour season begins since we're on the road every week. Also, we keep the artwork consistent on each of our five Tour Vans around the world, so any graphics changes require extensive coordination.

Recently my wedges started rusting slightly after being played with in severely wet weather. They are both Spin Milled chrome versions and are quite new. What should I do?
