player J.J. Henry is not only the local favorite at the Travelers Championship having grown up in nearby Fairfield, but he is also the defending champion, breaking through with his first career PGA TOUR victory here last year. In a wide-ranging interview in the Media Center, J.J. said his game is in great shape following his performance at the CVS Caremark Charity Classic on Monday and Tuesday. He also discussed Oakmont, time management, and the three-hole stretch (15-17) at TPC River Highlands known as the Golden Triangle.
J.J. talks to the media.
Titleist ambassador Brad Faxon, who won the 2005 Buick Championship (now Travelers Championship) with a memorable 7-iron shot out of a bunker on the first playoff hole (#18), also met with the media this morning.
