Taking a Break in the Tour Van

Titleist ambassador Michael Sim, who we recently caught up with during a practice round with fellow Australian Stephen Leaney, stopped by the Titleist Tour Van this week to get his clubs re-gripped. A lot of players like to wait around while their clubs get worked on, in part because of the nice lounge area we have in the Van. While we visited with Michael, he was able to use the computer in the lounge to check some email and see how his beloved Kangaroos were fairing in the Australian Football League.

On the Range with Steve Stricker

We spoke with Titleist ambassador Steve Stricker earlier this week as he prepared for the inaugural AT&T National at Congressional Country Club in suburban Washington D.C. This is Steve's first tournament since contending in the U.S. Open in mid-June.

Steve's set composition includes the new Pro V1 golf ball and thirteen Titleist golf clubs: Pro Titanium 905T driver (8.5°, UST Proforce V2), PT 906F2 fairway (13°, UST Proforce V2), PT 585.H utility (17°, Fujikura Speeder 904), 755 irons (3-P, Project X), and Vokey Design wedges (54° (bent to 53°) and 60°, Dynamic Gold with Sensicore).

In the Workshop with Bob Vokey

We visited with Bob Vokey recently as he went to work in the Titleist Tour Department workshop in California. Voke can be found here most days when he's not out on Tour working with players. Be sure to check out these photos from our visit...
