It's been another stellar season for the 40-year-old from Edgerton, Wisconsin, following a successful 2006 season during which he earned four top 10 finishes in his last five tournaments and was voted the PGA Tour's Comeback Player of the Year. Picking up right where he left off, Stricker posted nine top 10 finishes in 2007, earned a spot on his second Presidents Cup team and claimed his fourth career PGA Tour victory and first since the 2001 WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship. He entered the Playoffs as the #12 ranked player in FedEx points and has been on fire ever since, posting 11 of 12 rounds in the 60s and finishing in the top-10 in all three playoff events - something only one other player can claim. Thanks to his incredible consistency the past two years, Stricker, who began the 2006 season ranked 337th in the World Golf Ranking, has moved up to a career-best fifth in the Ranking following his win in New York. Keep an eye on Steve this weekend as he battles for the inaugural FedEx Cup.
Here are some pictures of Steve preparing for last week's BMW Championship outside Chicago, where he finished in third place.
