Thought we'd share a few more images from early in the week in Las Vegas. We got a chance to catch up with Titleist ambassadors Nick Watney, Dan Forsman, and Chris Kirk, another of our new young guns. Chris has the following Titleist equipment in the bag: Pro V1 golf balls, 907D4 prototype driver (8.5°, Mitsubishi Diamana 73 shaft), 906F4 fairways (13.5° & 18.5°, Mitsubishi Diamana 83 shafts), 690.CB 3 & 4 irons (Dynamic Gold shafts), 670 irons (5-9, Dynamic Gold shafts), Vokey Design prototype wedges (49°, 56° 61°, Dynamic Gold shafts), and Scotty Cameron by Titleist prototype putter. We'll try to get some pictures of Chris' bag soon.

Titleist ambassador and Frys.com Open defending champion Troy Matteson had his title defense get off to a rough start when he broke both his 907D2 driver and one of his 906F4 fairways during Tuesday's practice round. Troy was riding in a golf cart, which players were permitted to use during practice rounds this week, when his clubs got caught up in a fairway rope he was attempting to pass under. Luckily, the Titleist Tour Van was able to get Troy set back up with some gamers for Thursday's opening round.

Titleist is proud to welcome Colt Knost to the team as one of our newest full-line ambassadors. Colt recently turned professional after a remarkable summer of amateur golf that saw him capture the U.S. Amateur and U.S. Amateur Public Links Championships, as well as play a key role on the victorious United States Walker Cup squad. Colt made his professional debut last week at the Valero Texas Open, where he finished T49 with a 3-under 277 total. He'll be making his second start this week when play gets underway in Las Vegas for the Frys.com Open.
Colt's Titleist equipment consists of: Pro V1x golf balls, 907D2 driver (8.5°, Titleist Spec Grid by Aldila 67X shaft), 735.CM irons (3-P, True Temper Dynamic Gold shafts), Vokey Design wedges (prototype 54°, Spin Milled 60° T-grind, True Temper Dynamic Gold shafts), and Scotty Cameron by Titleist prototype putter.
