Titleist ambassador Adam Scott fired a sizzling final round 11-under 61 to earn a three-shot win at the Commercialbank Qatar Masters. It was his second victory in two tries at the event, as well as his 13th career win as a professional. Adam advanced to World Number Four with the record-setting performance in which he shaved two strokes off the course record, while achieving his personal best round as a professional. His 20-under par 268 total matched the tournament record previously set in 1999. He started the final round three shots off the lead, and posted five birdies in the first five holes. He had 11 birdies and no bogeys on the day. Adam becomes the first player to win with the new Titleist AP2 irons, a week after Titleist ambassador a victory at the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship playing the new Titleist Z•M Forged irons. We recently unveiled our new line of Titleist Advanced Performance irons, and several of our Tour players have already put the irons into their bags. We were able to catch up with a few of these players this week at the Buick Invitational at Torrey Pines, near our West Coast operations outside of San Diego. Titleist ambassador, and Honolulu native, Parker McLachlin earned a top-10 finish at last week's Sony Open in Hawaii, the first full-field event on the 2008 PGA Tour calendar. The 28-year-old McLachlin, in only his second full season on the PGA Tour, grew up playing and working around Waialae Country Club and used his local knowledge to secure his best career finish since a tie for fifth at last year's Turning Stone Resort Championship. Keep an eye on McLachlin when he tees it up this week at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic.

It's hard to believe, but it's 2008 and time to get back to work in the Titleist Tour Van as the PGA Tour season gets underway this week at the Mercedes-Benz Championship in Maui. Five of the six Titleist ambassadors who qualified for this winners-only event are teeing it up this week: Charley Hoffman (Bob Hope Chrysler Classic), Nick Watney (Zurich Classic of New Orleans), Zach Johnson (Masters Tournament, AT&T Classic), Steve Stricker (The Barclays), and George McNeill (Fry's Electronics Open).
