Titleist Brand Ambassador Zach Johnson is a proven winner on the PGA Tour, and his performance at the Valero Texas Open demonstrated a trust in himself and his Titleist equipment. Relying on the Pro V1x golf ball and the new 909D2 driver, Johnson was fit for success, posting a sizzling 62-64 on the weekend for his fourth career victory.
He was joined in the weekly winners' circle by fellow Titleist Brand Ambassador Marc Leishman, who trusted Titleist from tee-to-green en route to his first career Nationwide Tour title and a record-tying 11-shot margin of victory.
Johnson's win is the third on the PGA Tour with a new 909 driver, which were introduced to the Tour in June and will debut in golf shops this November. For the week, Titleist was second in drivers in play with 36, including 23 909 drivers. Other Titleist Brand Ambassadors to have put a new 909 driver in play on the PGA Tour this season include:

Titleist brand ambassador Zach Johnson posted his best round in more than a year with a bogey free 62 on Saturday at the Resort Course at La Cantera.
His appearance at the Valero Texas Open is Zach’s first PGA Tour start in seven weeks. Despite the time off, Zach showed no signs of rust when he posted eight birdies in Round 3. Highlights of his performance include hitting 13 of 14 fairways, 17 of 18 greens, and needing just 27 putts on the day.
Zach will be relying on the new Titleist 909D2 driver, 695CB irons, and of course a Pro V1x ball when he tees off in the last group on Sunday.

Jimmy Walker is right at home at La Cantera for this week's Valero Texas Open on the PGA Tour. Literally. He is a resident of San Antonio and is no stranger to the undulating 6,900 yard, par 70, golf course or its Bermuda grass greens. His comfort showed as he shot 67 - 66 to head into the weekend tied for 5th place. Not only is Jimmy comfortable with the course, but this week he put new irons in the bag and feels like he's played them forever. Upon trying out the Titleist Z Muscle Forged irons earlier in the week he said, "I only needed to hit three shots to know they were going in the bag."
Clearly they are working for him, as Jimmy hit 15 greens each of the first two rounds. Asked about his level of confidence standing over the ball on his approach shots, Jimmy said "there's not a shot out there I'm afraid to hit."
Even though its only been 36 holes of competitive golf, Jimmy has no doubt the new ZM irons will stay in the bag. "They all look real good throughout the set, and every one of them goes through the ground nice. They are doing exactly what I want them to do."
Jimmy knows he will need some home cooking this week as he began the event ranked 191st on the money list, a little more than a half million dollars out of the top 125 ($515,714). The winner's share is $810,000 out of the $4.5 million purse.
