We caught up with Marc on the Byron Nelson Championship practice green earlier this year to explain why he prefers the new mallet-style Cameron creation. Turnesa's win marks the 22nd for players trusting Scotty Cameron putters on the PGA TOUR this year. That's more than twice the nearest competitor with nine. The Fastback, along with the new Squareback, Newport 2.6 and Newport 2.7, began shipping to golf shops this month ...

Congratulations to Marc. I have followed your progress over the last year and am happy to see your name on the top. My father (Nate Keith, Larchmont, NY) played with your relatives (7 brothers) in the 1930s in New York where he grew up and he used to tell me stories about them as I grew up. It is good to see you follow the family tradition. I did to a point, becoming a member of the PGA in mid-life but left to go back to what I am good at (Professor of Mathematics/Statistics).
Hope to see you in Chicago when the BMW comes back to Cog Hill.

Will Scotty be releasing the plumbers neck version of the Fastback that is on Tour now. I'd like a little more toe flow than the current model offers.

Congrats Marc on your first PGA victory. That is a nice looking putter. It kind of looks like a wide Newport 2 with the plumber's neck. Would you call it a half mallet? Good luck.

Scotty considers the Fastback head a mallet. You can read more about the <a href="www.scottycameron.com/.../puttermodel.aspx rel="nofollow">Fastback 1</a>, which has the same head but a different neck than Marc's Fastback Prototype, at <a href="www.scottycameron.com/.../puttermodel.aspx rel="nofollow">ScottyCameron.com</a>.

Plans for future Scotty Cameron putter models have not been released. Check back often with <a href="http://www.titleist.com/" rel="nofollow">Titleist.com</a> and <a href="www.scottycameron.com/" rel="nofollow">ScottyCameron.com</a> for the latest product release news.
What's the length of his putter?
I would love to buy a Newport 2.7, but it isn 't made in a left-hand model. PLEASE MAKE IT IN LEFTY!
