I just got back to the hotel after the Pro-Am at NSW [New South Wales Golf Club]. I had an early start this morning, left the hotel at 5:30am! It was a cold, rainy and windy morning and by the time I left the course it was sunny. Tomorrow is supposed to be better weather and the weekend even warmer. The course is in good condition but anything can happen out there. I think the guy who wins it will have a little luck on his side and there's nothing wrong with that! I think a lot of us have dreamed of winning our national championship.
I arrived in Sydney on Monday and participated in two charity functions. The first event was to help raise funds for The CorriLee Foundation out at The Lakes Golf Course and then the second event was a Westpac Golf Day out at Twin Creek Golf Club. Both events were great to be involved with and I'm glad I had the time to participate this week. I appreciate all the work Westpac does in our community and for being a supporter of some many worthwhile causes. A portion of the proceeds raised went directly to my Foundation so just want to thank everyone involved in making the day such a success.
I need to run and get a rest in before dinner.
Until next time, take care.
Adam is looking to maintain momentum from consecutive top-10 finishes at the JBWere Masters and Dubai World Championship at this week's Australian Open.
