Titleist Equipment Highlights for Week Ending March 14, 2010

World Golf Championships - WGC-CA Championship
According to the Darrell Survey, Titleist was the GOLF BALL of choice at the WGC-CA Championship with 36 players, four times the nearest competitor with 9.  Titleist was also first in IRON SETS with 18 players; SAND, LOB and APPROACH WEDGES with 47; and PUTTERS with 20 in play.  Titleist was also second in the DRIVER (17), FAIRWAY METALS (21) and HYBRIDS (12) categories.

PGA Tour - Puerto Rico Open
According to the Darrell Survey, Titleist was the overwhelming GOLF BALL of choice at the Puerto Rico Open with 83 players, more than four times the nearest competitor with 20.  Titleist was also first in IRON SETS with 35 players; SAND, LOB and APPROACH WEDGES with 99; and PUTTERS with 54 in play.  Titleist was also second in the DRIVER (25) category.

Ladies European Tour - Handa Australian Open
Pro V1x loyalist Yani Tseng won the Ladies Australian Open, birdieing seven of the last 12 holes for a bogey-free 7-under 66 and a three-stroke victory. Two-thirds of the field (101 players at the event) relied upon Titleist as their ball of choice, including 7 of the top 10 finishers.

I have been playing the 670 irons for the past few years and am thinking about switching into the new MB irons.    What are the major differences between the two?

i use the 690 mb i like them also looking at buying new mb irons this year.  i guess i will find out when i hit them to the other models in titleist and others to see which one i like best its hard to find great lefty clubs. i had great sucess with my titleist clubs  have 3 cobra bafflers, scotty putter
