Well, this time last week I had just completed my first 2010 tournament round at the Masters. I was in the last group to tee off on Thursday with David Duval and Ricky Barnes and luckily we were able to get the round in, we had some rain and it was windy but we were able to complete it. I left Augusta National that night feeling pretty good, it was the first time I had ever broken 70 at the Masters and I was in good position after day 1. Day 2 was a bit of a struggle, had a hard time getting things going and couldn't find the feel with my putter. After my round I spent the next couple of hours on the putting green with my coach and we worked through a few things. I felt better on Saturday and had a good round on Sunday. All in all I left Augusta feeling more confident and I now know that my ball striking is where it needs to be, obviously there's work to be done with my short game and it's starting to come together. Patience is the key.
I'm taking a little time away from the clubs this week and then I'll be back at it next week preparing for Quail Hollow. I have a few business commitments next week in London and I'll be practicing there until I get to North Carolina. It's been a nice few days and haven't done too much except catch up on sleep. By the way, my new Facebook page is Adam Scott Golf instead of ascott167, be sure and check it out when you have time.
I just wanted to end by thanking everyone that supported me last week in Augusta and also to those that sent best wishes to my website. It can sometimes be a grind and your support makes all the difference. I appreciate it more than you know.
Until next time, take care.-Adam
