I'm in southern California this week preparing for our second major of the year next week. I wasn't very pleased with my performance last week at the Memorial. I just couldn't get the putter going and my stats reflected it. I'm back to the basics this week with my short game and it's feeling more routine. The set-up at Pebble and all U.S. open courses is similar, narrow fairways, fast greens so every shot counts and precision is essential for low scores. I'm looking forward to getting back to Monterey and the thrill of the U.S. Open. One thing for certain, exciting and roaring crowds with a magnificent backdrop!
I have a full day of practice tomorrow and then I have a photo shoot on Thursday. I'll write more on that later this week and will post some photos on Twitter (@ascott167) and facebook (adamscottgolf). More later in the week, need to get to bed now.
Until then, take care.
