How better to celebrate the first day of summer (or, more fittingly, the longest day of the year) than with an exclusive first look at the new Titleist 910 line of metal woods?
We have begun testing and seeding the 910 metal line this week at the Acushnet Oceanside Test Facility in California. We will continue to test and fit players into the 910 metals on the PGA Tour at next week's AT&T National tournament, outside Philadelphia.
Effective today, June 21, the 910 drivers are approved for play in competition, and we anticipate several being put in play on the PGA Tour in the coming weeks.

I was going to buy a 909 D3 driver a month ago but I will wait for these 910's . When can I demo and buy these 910's?

I'm a die hard Titliest player.....except for their woods. I don't like the look of hitting a ball with a dinner plate-sized driver. I play the R9 Superdeep. It has that deep face and the look of a smaller driver at address. Plus you can tinker with the head weights. Titleist needs to revisit their roots and offer smaller headed drivers. Not everyone wants the max 460cc head. The D3 is a joke. It is too close to a D2. Despite the hype, I think the huge driver heads swing slower. Give us some choices Titleist.

Look fantastic, love the low profile on the fairway woods. How does the adjustment work.\?

Had a hit with the 910 D2 and 910 D3 this week. Great clubs. settled on the d3 and will definitely get one when they come out. Got the Loft and Lie angle fitted properly. There are 16 positions, so as you improve or tweak your swing, you can get the pro (or if you're game, do it yourself) to change the settings. Simple settings and with the Titleist Surefit Matrix, you know exactly what each change / setting option does. That leaves you effectively with 16 drivers in one club.
Last thing to measure up is the shaft. I tried the Aldila RIP Stiff 60g and the Project X Stiff 73g. The project X was the better of the two, or should i say, the 70g+ shaft is better for me, now the question is which shaft. Currently playing the UST Proforce V2 95g which i think may be a little too heavy. Will want to try the RIP shaft at 70g+ and also the Proforce V2 at 70g+ before finalising my decision.
All in all, a great club from Titleist.

caddied for troy matteson earlier this season in a pro am, it was really cool to watch the #10 tour player in driving distance crush it with the new titleist 910d2, he said he believes that this right now is the best driver on tour and that over half of the titleist staff put it in the bag the day it came out. very cool guy, very cool club!
