910 Metals Introduced on Tour

Posted: June 21, 2010

How better to celebrate the first day of summer (or, more fittingly, the longest day of the year) than with an exclusive first look at the new Titleist 910 line of metal woods?

We have begun testing and seeding the 910 metal line this week at the Acushnet Oceanside Test Facility in California.  We will continue to test and fit players into the 910 metals on the PGA Tour at next week's AT&T National tournament, outside Philadelphia.

Effective today, June 21, the 910 drivers are approved for play in competition, and we anticipate several being put in play on the PGA Tour in the coming weeks.

When can we expect to see the whole line of finished clubs? Adjustable or not, these clubs look great! Can't wait to try them out.

looks good hopefully i can pre-order mine.

ANOTHER THING YOU GUYZ NEED TO START LOOKING AT SHAFTS FOR YOUR CLUBS.

www.mitsubishirayongolf.com  ARE THE NUMBER 1 SHAFTS IN GOLF.

LOOK FOR A LIGHTER SHAFT WHICH WILL RESULT IN FASTER CLUB HEAD SPEED.

MITSUBSHI JUST RELEASED THE NEW FUBUKI ALPHA SHAFTS... WITH ONLY 56g wight compared to the typical tour weight of 75....look into it guyz if you want an extra 5-10 yards

While I understand that most equiptment manufacturers have gone the route of adjustable drivers and fairways i am not sure that this is a trend that needs to be followed.I do know that Titleist will do a great job of producing their version of adjustable clubs but the reason I choose to play Titleist is that their clubs have always been uncomplicated and visually clean and precise.Adjustable clubs in my opinion can lead to second guessing and lack of belief in clubhead setup when the fault may lie entirely lie in a swing or grip fault. PS. 910 clubs do look really good though so hope they take off when put in serious use. Yours in golf Brian
