You love your Vokey Design Spin Milled Wedge.
But you can't stop thinking about Rickie Fowler’s 60-Degree with Cowboy Orange “RF” stamping that you saw on Titleist.com.
You wish you could get Tour Van treatment for your wedge, just like Rickie.
Now you can: the new WedgeWorks Exclusives line – personalized, one-of-a-kind creations that are custom-engraved, hand-stamped and built to your liking at WedgeWorks, Titleist’s high performance custom shop in Carlsbad, Calif., where Master Craftsman Bob Vokey and his team of artisans design and build wedges for everyone from PGA Tour players to avid wedge enthusiasts.
Every WedgeWorks Exclusives club, available through Vokey.com beginning July 15, is crafted to fit your game and your personality – from length, lie and loft, to toe engraving, paintfill, grips, shafts and shaftbands. You want it, you got it. Straight from Vokey's workshop."WedgeWorks is a life-long dream come true," said Vokey. "Wedges are personal. The Exclusives line allows avid Vokey enthusiasts an opportunity to make the wedges their own."The new WedgeWorks Exclusives line features the tournament proven Vokey Tour Van Design (TVD) sole and pre-2010 Spin Milled grooves. Condition of Competition (C-C) wedges will be available in the WedgeWorks Exclusives line beginning in September.
The Vokey TVD features a crescent shaped sole and moderate camber. This allows the wedge to easily pivot around its center for versatility and shot making. Vokey TVD wedges are also the only wedges in the Vokey Design lineup that feature a Tour grind in lower lofts, beginning at 52 degrees and increasing to 60 degrees in two degree increments. The rest is up to you.
Choose from:• Two distinctive new finishes – Bright Brushed Chrome and Oil Can Zero – created exclusively for WedgeWorks Exclusives.• Nearly limitless personalization options: Three different hand-stamp styles (Straight, Freestyle, Snow) in up to eight letters and/or numbers; 20 different paintfill colors (including colors like Wings of Golf, Irish Green, Oceanside Blue and Cowboy Orange – Rickie’s favorite); and 40 different toe engraving combinations (Tour Saw, BV Custom, Spin Milled Saw and Oil Can Zero, in various color combinations).• A high-performance shaft matrix: True Temper's Dynamic Gold, Tour Issue and Project X, as well as the KBS Tour in steel and black nickel.• Specifically-designed WedgeWorks shaft bands: WedgeWorks Black, WedgeWorks Exclusives Red, or BV Custom Wedges in Black & Gold. You can also opt for no shaft band at all.• BV custom grips in a variety of textures and colors: Among the Vokey grips available are the New Decade Multi-Compound and full cord Golf Pride Tour Velvet. BV Custom grips are available only through WedgeWorks.
"Bob Vokey built his reputation on providing golfers the best short game tools in the world," said Steve Pelisek, General Manager, Titleist Golf Clubs. "The new WedgeWorks Exclusives provide golfers a Tour-inspired and Tour-validated Vokey TVD Spin Milled wedge with all of the custom options usually reserved for the best players in the world."The base retail price for all models is $150.

Groove cut? C-C or "regular" for the amateurs.
JET wrote on July 1, 2010 at 9:39PM

Years ago, I had two great wedges that I literally wore the grooves off the faces. Since then, I have struggled to find that same magical feeling in standard off-the-shelf wedges. This is a wonderful opportunity to relive the past with Bob Vokey's master touch doing the work!! Can't wait!!!!

WOW! Such a great idea. I can't wait to see all the options. This is just like Scotty's Custom Shop for wedges. Looks like I'll be getting a second job to finance yet another golf related addiction...

Now I'm upset because I just purchased a new oil can 58 degree wedge. Just my luck, regardless the new concept is fantastic! I look forward to using it in the near future.

WOW! This is SO COOL! I currently have 3 Vokey's (52, 56 and 60 degree) in my bag, so I guess I'll just have to play and practice a lot more so I can wear 'em out and order these new ones! What a neat concept, and I look forward to getting one or more made.

Leave it to Titleist, the premier club maker, to come up with this great idea. It's so nice to see all the shaft options, Only wish the irons came that way without the upcharge. Can't wait to order mine. Thanks Titleist for catering to the amateur who inspires to be a better player and maybe even a pro someday.
